Rent Repayment Order Tenant Pack (England)
GBP 29. Instant download after payment. No VAT charged.
A step-by-step document pack for tenants in England who want to apply to the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) for a rent repayment order because their landlord ran an unlicensed house in multiple occupation (HMO) or an unlicensed house.
Who it is for
- Tenants (and former tenants) of a room or home in England who believe the landlord should have had an HMO licence, or a selective licence, and did not.
- People who want to prepare and file their own application on the official Form RRO1, understand the time limits, and work out how much they can ask for.
- Groups of housemates applying together.
Jurisdiction
England only. The rent repayment order rules in the pack are those in the Housing and Planning Act 2016 as amended by the Renters' Rights Act 2025. The pack does not cover Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. The law is stated as checked on 30 October 2026.

What it is not
- Not legal advice. The pack is self-help information. Noverquis Ltd is not a law firm and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Buying it does not create a solicitor-client relationship.
- Not a promise of a result. The Tribunal must be sure beyond reasonable doubt that the offence was committed, and it decides how much to award. Many awards are below the maximum.
- Not for every situation. If your case is large, your landlord is a company that has been dissolved, your claim runs across 1 May 2026, or you rent through a middle company, take advice as well. The pack explains where.
- Not a filing service. You complete and send the official form yourself.
Price and delivery
- Price: GBP 29, paid by card through Stripe. No VAT is charged because Noverquis Ltd is not VAT registered.
- Delivery: instant download after payment is confirmed. We also email you a confirmation with the link.
- To get immediate access you tick a box at checkout agreeing that we can start supplying the pack straight away and acknowledging that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel. This is explained in the Terms of Sale. Your rights if something is wrong with the pack are not affected.
